February 20, 2018 What if?

There are times in life that we may ask ourselves \”what if,\” or \”if only?\”  It is important that we learn from previous \”what if\” experiences and work towards taking actions that will limit our \”ifs\” in life.  We should work towards gratitude for what we have and not wish for the \”what if.\”  Happiness must come in the now.  If we are waiting for a future event, person, or place we will find it very hard to locate happiness.  When we are happy and grateful in the now, then when we participate in the event, find the person or reach the place, we are still able to be happy.
Joy in life is a choice.  One that can be hard at times because we have to fight off other emotions or feelings.  It is important that we choose to be happy and understand each situation for what it represents.  A snap shot in time.  My boys like Kung Fu Panda and the wise master shared this statement, “the past is history, tomorrow is a mystery, and today is a gift, that is why it is called the present.”  What will you find today as you open your presents?
If you go about today with the right focus and attitude you will find the gifts to be everything you wanted and more.  When you open a present that was not on your wish list, be grateful for it and remember it will soon be history.  Enjoy the now, be grateful for all your gifts both uplifting and challenging for they each teach us differently for our journey.  The law of attraction says we attract what we focus on so focus on happiness and gratitude.  By doing so you will attract more things to be happy and grateful for in your life.
